			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The breast cancer is the type most common cancer among women. During his life, one in nine women is likely to have cancer of the breast. Several factors play a role in the development of this cancer: family history, hormones, aging, etc.. Moreover, scientists have long suspected the lifestyle of being a major risk factor.</p>

<p>However, they could not identify precisely what components of lifestyle is the most influential.<br />
For many years it was thought that a high intake of fat was one of those components that contribute most to risk of breast cancer. Now we believe instead that fat intake may play a role, but it is not the only factor, nor the most important. However, recent research indicates that a diet low in fat reduces the risk of recurrence of breast cancer.<br />
Moreover, it appears that risk factors vary according to the hormonal changes experienced by women (premenopausal or menopausal).<span id="more-389"></span><br />

For example, a diet rich in saturated fats could contribute to nearly a quarter of cases of breast cancer occur in postmenopausal women. However, intakes of saturated fat does not appear to contribute significantly to the risk of breast cancer occurring before menopause.<br />
The studies are unanimous, however, to establish a link between consumption of alcohol and risk of breast cancer. Over consumption of alcohol, the higher the risk is too, no matter the stage of hormonal women. For optimal health, women should not take more than one glass of alcohol per day.<br />

After menopause, it seems that women who gain weight or who are overweight are more likely to be affected by breast cancer. The degree of physical activity is also a risk factor. Physical inactivity in adulthood contribute to almost one third of cases of breast cancer, especially before menopause. It is therefore recommended that 30 minutes of daily physical activity (walking, dancing, running, yoga, Pilates, etc..) To reduce the risk of breast cancer.<br />
A healthy lifestyle does not guarantee that we will be spared from breast cancer.However, there is every chance of his side through good habits!</p>

<p><strong>Hot flashes</strong><br />
At menopause, many women experience hot flashes. They feel a sensation of intense heat that is sometimes accompanied by redness or sweating often followed by cold sweats. This phenomenon is caused by decreased levels of estrogen, which disrupts the &#8220;thermostat&#8221; of the body. Some women experience these gusts of 15 to 20 times per day, which can be very uncomfortable.<br />
In the United States, 70% to 80% of postmenopausal women report having hot flashes, against only 10% to 14% of them in Japan. According to some, the diet rich in phytoestrogens Asians explain this difference. Phytoestrogens are compounds of plant origin which, when consumed in sufficient quantities, can affect the body similarly to estrogen, a sex hormone produced by the ovaries. Unfortunately, the research could not prove with certainty the effectiveness of phytoestrogens in the treatment of hot flashes. Some studies report a decrease in symptoms by 15% by taking phytoestrogens, which equals about two hot flashes per day less among women who feel 12 every day.<br />
To help alleviate hot flashes, here are some suggestions:</p>
<ul>
<li>Maintain a healthy weight. It seems that women with excess weight have more hot flashes than those with healthy weights.</li>
<li>Put aside the alcohol, the caffeine, the cigarette and food very spicy. They can increase the intensity of hot flashes.</li>
<li>Replace your hot drinks for cold drinks to lower your body temperature.</li>

The female sex hormones give women protection against heart disease. However, this advantage disappears at menopause. The amount of estrogen (female sex hormones) fall, causing increased levels of bad cholesterol (LDL) and triglycerides in the blood and lowering good cholesterol (HDL) blood. These changes may gradually lead to the formation of plaques in the arteries that supply the heart with blood. When plaque clogs the arteries, it can lead to a heart attack or stroke (stroke).<br />
Fortunately, your diet can help prevent cardiovascular disease.
