Sleep disorders are a common malady of modern society. Although sleep problems are usually the most popular related lack of sleep, including insomnia, the truth is that there are three groups of sleep disorders.

A recent study concluded that in the United States about 70 million people suffer some form of sleep disorder as is “awake”, which can produce major problems in the functioning of the person during the day, may also cause or aggravate physical or mental problems. Night terrors are a sleep disorder in which a person quickly awakens from sleep in a terrified state.

Night terrors (sleep terrors) occur during deep sleep, usually during the first third of the night. The cause is unknown but night terrors may be triggered by fever, lack of sleep, or periods of emotional tension,stress , or conflict. (more…)
