What is an LVN?
LVNs are licensed vocational nurses. These nurses work under the supervision of nursesin of RNsregistered hospitals, from nursing homes, private offices of doctors and clinics.
Is there a difference between an LVN and an LPN?
There is no difference between and LVN and LPN. We will call a LVN if you live in California or Texas, and a practical LPNLicensed Nursein all other states in America.
How much school is required to become a LVN / LPN?
To make LVN / LPN, LVN you need to complete a year-long training program or LPN-specific. These are offered in technical schools, community colleges, universities first and second year and schools licensed vocational nursing. You will then have to pass a licensing exam before you receive your title as LVN / LPN. (more…)
