Ensuring delivery of tetanus toxoid to 100% of pregnant women in control.<br />
<strong><br />
Objective:</strong><br />
Preventing maternal and neonatal tetanus.</p>
<p><strong>Activities:</strong><br />
Using the rules and procedures of the immunization program: vaccinating susceptible group, dose, route, equipment, registration, conservation of biological, etc..<br />
To assess immune background and history of vaccination of pregnant women to control at the first contact.<br />
Apply appropriate dose of tetanus toxoid in the first contact with the mother.</p>
<p><strong>General provision:</strong><br />
The health team is responsible for the implementation of tetanus toxoid to pregnant women. As nurses and medical assistants simplified who maintain, prepare, manage and record the vaccine.<br />
Tetanus toxoid should be applied to all pregnant women, WITHOUT EXCEPTION.<br />
The nurse must perform interrogation to assess vaccination histories of pregnant women and corresponding dose.<br />
The nurse should apply the appropriate doses of tetanus toxoid in the first contact with the pregnant woman.<span id="more-350"></span><br />
