A protein diet is a type of diet that forbids the consumption of carbohydrates and fats to achieve weight loss by burning fat reserves in your body.
The protein diet reduces the consumption of fats and carbohydrates to increase the protein, for that way to force the body to consume its own fat stores. Then there is the loss of weight due to the disappearance of body fat.
Foods containing sugars and fats should be eliminated from the diet and protein should be eaten only at breakfast, lunch and dinner:
