The photo-epilation session requires a few minutes and a cycle of at least 4 sessions monthly.


The light energy, attracted by the melanin of the hair reaches the hair bulb, destroying it if it is in active phase (anagen, or growth). In order to avoid thermal damage, the equipment pulsed light has a special feature of selective photothermolysis, which allows the differentiation of skin temperature and bulb: the first will remain within safe limits while the temperature of the bulb will reach levels that to cause its thermal destruction.
How To Play The Treatment
Before submitting the skin at the flash of high intensity pulsed light, he shall supervise the implementation of a special gel that acts both as a conductor of light energy, both by protecting the skin. Is then sending pulses of light, “fired” from the handpiece at regular intervals. Within minutes you can cover extensive areas also (eg the legs), but also limited as the upper lip or chin area. At the end of the session of photo-epilation, gels and hair fall are removed with a spatula, while the remaining hair falls naturally within one or two days. After about a month, raising the hairs whose bulbs were not in the active phase at the time of previous treatment, ready now to be affected by the pulsed light.


The pulsed light works best if …
… the skin is not dark or tanned
… the hair is not blond or white (the larger the contrast between light skin and dark hair, the better the results)
… there are freckles or other skin spots (if there is a single mole, this will be covered)
… the hormonal structure is stable (to avoid in future the growth of new, unwanted hair)
… the hairs are long at least 2 / 3 millimeters
… Turn to an experienced operator, able to properly set the parameters of the equipment according to specific characteristics of hair and skin.
