Autoimmune diseases

As a definition say that so-called autoimmune diseases are those where both the immune system as defenses act in an abnormal way in the way they react to certain cells of the body as if they were his enemies and therefore the damage.
This type of mismatch can affect a body, several or even a tissue that often ends up as changes occur as time passes the immune system will see the area as long as a foreign body.
Autoimmune diseases are very similar to allergies, where the body is an overreaction to a substance that itself does not pose a health hazard.
Among the organs and tissues that are most affected by this problem are the skin, muscles, joints, blood cells and some blood components, as well as some glands like the pancreas or thyroid.
Although there is no consensus about what are the causes of autoimmune disease, some theories are dumped on the fact of a genetic predisposition, or also the effect of viruses, bacteria and other microorganisms or certain medicines. (more…)
