Wednesday, July 2nd, 2008Alginates Biodegradable natural polysaccharides are non-woven fiber derived from the calcium salt of alginic acid (from seaweed). Although they are commonly known as calcium alginate, all are composed of ions of sodium and calcium in different proportions.
