Panic disorder is characterized by attacks of panic (or anxiety attacks) recurrent unexpected. It can be combined or not with agoraphobia. During a panic attack, the fear response is out of proportion to the situation that often is not threatening.

Over time, a person who suffers from this disorder develops a constant fear of making seizures, which can affect daily life and bring such to avoid places or situations where an attack has occurred or where it believes an attack might occur. (more…)

What we classify as VIF?
“Any abuse that affects the physical or mental health of a family member, whether the offender lives or family under one roof”
Jorge Corsi (1992) has defined domestic violence as:
“All forms of abuse occurring between members of a family.”

A distinctive element in the vif is the notion of abuse: this concept refers to the power relationships within the family, and then stated that abuse occurs within the family group, there must be a situation of abuse of power. This is related to dominant cultural conceptions of our society. (more…)
