The Pap test means a test which all gynecologic women of childbearing age and after menopause should have regular, this after discovering that it is extremely effective as a means of prevention against cancer of the uterine body.

The PAP test is a test performed by a gynecologist absolutely not obligatory for women, whose importance as a means of preventing cervical cancer is now undisputed. This tumor is known for sure that caused by a viral infection or by a virus transmitted through sexual contact, papillomavirus (HPV).

The first conventional PAP smears should be done after the age of 18 (the period in which is supposed to have initiated the first sexual intercourse), continuing until the age of 35 years with at least once a year (this is the band’s age of increased incidence of suspicious cell changes); between 35 and 65 years can lower the frequency of checks every three years, after 65 years, this survey is used mainly to assess the state of the mucosa.

For self-examination, the woman has to lie down and put the head on the right hand, while with his left hand touches the right chest, slowly and seeing if any lumps. Also, inspect both the nipple and the armpit. When you are done with the right breast, it performs the same action but with the right hand and left chest.

Again, before any abnormality, you must go to the doctor to be the one to make the diagnosis.

Indices of renal disease are:
the presence of particle (red and white) the presence of cylinders that is taking this aspect of training because they reproduce the mold of the renal tubule, consisting of a glycoprotein produced by the renal tubule.
It in regard to distinguish different types of cylinders:
hyaline formed only glycoprotein, generally do not have clinical significance, may occur after physical effort, general anesthesia, febrile illness.
Wax formed by proteins and lipids, and their presence may be a sign of kidney disease.
Neutrophils, a decrease can be interpreted as bacterial infection, viral (hepatitis, infectious diseases of childhood, influenza, mononucleosis), malnutrition or alcoholism.
An increase may indicate infection with streptococcus bacteria or certain fungi.

Normal value: 50-70
Basophils: a decrease can be caused by prolonged treatment with cortisone or during pregnancy, but may be a sign of:
Thyroid disorders
urticaria
Asthma – Hay Fever
An increase is usually caused by:
anemia
Diabetes
Tuberculosis
Leukemia
Eosinophils: a decrease is almost always associated with a cortisone-based care, while an increase is often determined by:
asthma
urticaria
allergy drug
pneumonia
parasitosis
hayfever
poisonings
Lymphocytes: the decrease is usually produced by treatment with chemotherapeutic drugs and cortisone, although it may be a sign of:
lupus
Hodgkin’s disease
kidney
AIDS.
An increase may represent:
parotitis (mumps)
Chickenpox – Measles
Pertussis
toxoplasmosis
mononucleosis

Normal value: 20-45
Monocytes: the decrease is significant from the clinical point of view, the increase may instead be a sign of:
arthritis
Leukemia
ovarian cancer – stomach – breast
Tuberculosis
bacterial endocarditis
Malaria
Candida
