There are many people who have a life with little or no physical activity, staying most of the day sitting, this is called a sedentary lifestyle.

Most of them do not do physical activity because of time and that their work consuming much of the day and at night they are exhausted enough to want to at least do a walk of half hour.

There are people who dislike exercise directly, or go to the gym or practice any type of sport they prefer in their hours of rest, rest do just that, installed in front of the TV or computer and those who work through the Internet and who spend most of their time in front of the screen, say no strength left for another type of activity.


But this sedentary lifestyle has its problems because when someone does not do physical activity all your muscles are no longer used, leading to poor blood circulation throughout the body, bringing along other health problems like obesity, heart disease, muscle that are atrophying, diabetes, osteoporosis and apnea during sleep.

Many scholars attribute the sedentary life to an attitude of laziness, because they will invent one hundred reasons for not exercising as tiredness, fatigue, boredom, lack of time, other unavoidable commitments, hard work, and so on.

In fact fatigue, although it is true, is more about mental fatigue than physical, but the truth is that if you practice a little exercise may initially experience fatigue, but then we will feel better, both physically and mentally and with more energy.

Obesity is a problem that is closely linked to lack of exercise and excess weight will result in a sedentary lifestyle, making the situation in a vicious circle.


Even in the modern world and the children have a very sedentary life, product technology, which is why adults should instill a greater attachment to sports activities, thus avoiding a sedentary lifestyle that creates the risk of serious health problems.

Having an active lifestyle is healthy, make a proper diet and moderate physical activity prevents the risk of contracting many diseases.

You can begin by walking for 10-15 minutes daily, it is important to choose a path that makes us feel good, walk slowly at first to get used to the body and can be helpful in the fact find a partner that will make walking much more enjoyable.
