When is an elderly person?
It is very difficult to determine when it begins the period of human development commonly known as seniors. The experts in human evolution did not agree as to when you start aging, because it will depend on many factors that affect the life that has been: food, activity, profession, lived events, so to tackle them, and so on. Hence say that chronological age does not define the aging but in our society seems to be accepted as a starting point for this stage of life the time for retirement, whether or not an active worker, ranking it around 65.

Old age is it a disease?
Over the years the body undergoes changes that affect each person differently. On the one hand to the body ages, it becomes a new image acquired, increases wrinkles, hair turns gray, the weight varies so on. In addition there is a reduction of certain powers, premature fatigue, forgetfulness and so on. but this does not mean you are sick, on the contrary, this stage has to live positively, as something natural, living with this process in a healthy and optimistic. What is malaria?
Malaria (and malaria) is an infectious disease caused by a parasite of the genus Plasmodium of which there are 4 species specific to humans: Plasmodium falciparum, Plasmodium vivax, Plasmodium ovale and Plasmodium malariae. It is transmitted to humans by a particular species of mosquito: the anopheles, and only by female mosquitoes. It can be abbreviated in almost all warm tropical regions of the globe, where the mosquito can live primarily in sub-Saharan Africa, Southeast Asia, East and Latin America.

A) The viral bronchitis

No further consideration, outside the context of epidemiological and clinical examination.
Evolution
Healing spontaneously favorable, or as a result of treatment:

  • antipyretic
  • broncho-dilators if necessary.

Complications

  • Bacterial bronchitis (infection).
  • Cough with muco purulent sputum associated with relatively abundant dyspnea.
  • Bronchial, snoring, which may be accompanied by signs of respiratory control.
  • sometimes vital prognosis.

Signs of severity of bronchitis

  • Dimensions major
  • Sweating important
  • Cyanosis
  • Confusion
  • Pics hypertensive

(in this case, since resuscitation on respiratory decompensation in response to hypercapnia by hypoventilation.)
Investigations

  • Radio Lung etiology.
  • NFS VS if needed (hyper leukocytosis).
  • ECBC in cases of bronchitis repeatedly resistant to antibiotic treatments.

Lung Cancer

In most cases a result of smoking, lung cancer remains the 1st cause cancer in humans and is becoming the most common cancer of women to breast cancer. Often diagnosed late, his chances of recovery are still limited. Only effective prevention: stop smoking!

What is lung cancer?
Also known as lung cancer or lung, is characterized by the uncontrolled growth of abnormal cells in the lungs. Over 90% of cases it is caused by tobacco.

  • smoking “active”: the risk increases with the number of cigarettes smoked per day and the number of years of smoking,
  • Smoking or “passive”: people who live or work with smokers also inhale the smoke can develop lung cancer.

Hiatal Hernia

What is a hiatal hernia?
A hiatal hernia is the transition of part of the stomach into the chest through the diaphragm. It occurs when the fixations of the stomach and lower esophagus are failing. It may be of two types: the most frequent (90% of cases), part of the stomach and the cardia (junction of the esophagus and stomach) slide both in the chest: it the sliding hiatal hernia.

Hiatal Hernia

More rarely, a part of the stomach enters the chest by sliding along the esophagus, the cardia remains in its normal position under the diaphragm, the abdominal cavity: the rolling hiatus hernia.
This anatomical abnormality may be intermittent or permanent. It may be easier and makes more particularly the prolonged reflux of acid from the stomach into the esophagus. (more…)
