A protein diet is a type of diet that forbids the consumption of carbohydrates and fats to achieve weight loss by burning fat reserves in your body.
The protein diet reduces the consumption of fats and carbohydrates to increase the protein, for that way to force the body to consume its own fat stores. Then there is the loss of weight due to the disappearance of body fat.

Disadvantages of the diet with protein
A protein diet is a poorly balanced diet that limits consumption of certain foods and therefore cause different side effects, highlighting constipation, hair loss, and halitosis. Weight loss can not be maintained over time and this type of diet should be done under medical supervision.
