TECHNICAL IMPLEMENTATION:
• Eliminate potential distractions (phone, interruptions, door, etc.).
• Listen actively to what the patient needs to communicate.
• Demonstrate that we are ready to listen and you can trust us.
• Saying what one thinks or believes.
• Be patient, do not interrupt, take the time avoiding criticism. Be consistent with the situation and context.
• To express audibly, smooth and clear.
• Avoid jargon to facilitate understanding.
• Explain any technique that is performed before the patient, clarifying their doubts and fears diminishing.
• Ask the patient if we have explained, if you still have doubts and if you want something more.
